Words Have Rhythm – I Just Need to Find Mine

Hey, I’m Adam, and I’ll be honest, I suck at writing.

I never liked English in school. Actually, I never finished school. I dropped out at 14 because of bullying and mental health struggles. Writing always felt like something other people were good at. Not me.

And yet, here I am, starting a blog about copywriting.

Why?

Two reasons:

  1. I need to get better at writing. If I ever want to build something online, I can’t afford to be bad at it.
  2. They say the best way to learn is to teach. So instead of just figuring this out on my own, I thought, why not share the process and maybe help someone else along the way?

That’s what CopyCadence is. A learning journal. A place to document my struggles, my small wins, and my progress as I try to go from “I don’t know what I’m doing” to “Hey, maybe I’m not so bad at this after all.”

Every expert started at the beginning, knowing nothing.

What This Blog Really Is

It’s not one of those polished, expert-run copywriting blogs where everything sounds effortless and perfect. Because I’m not effortless or perfect.

I overthink.
I over-explain.
I go off on tangents. (Autism does that to me.)

But that’s exactly why I think this blog matters. Because if you’re someone who also feels like writing is hard, or you don’t know where to start, or you’ve convinced yourself that you’re just “not a writer” … well, I get it. I’m right there with you.

You can become great at any subject, if you’re willing to learn.

Effort + Time = Mastery

The Goal?

To get better. And to show, in real time, that anyone can improve.

I want this site to be a casual, honest, and useful place. You’ll see my flaws, my experiments, and (hopefully) my progress. Over time, I hope that transparency will build trust, because if I can go from not knowing anything to actually getting good, then you can too.

The more I learn, the more I’ll be able to give.

I’d love to build a community here, to provide value to others and lets be honest I’d like to make money doing that too (as i’m sure you would too).

Let’s Learn Together

I don’t have all the answers. But I’m here, figuring things out, and sharing what I learn along the way.

If that sounds like something you’d want to be part of, stick around. Let’s learn together. Let’s build together. And hopefully, let’s succeed together.

Welcome to CopyCadence.
